I wrote this a couple of years ago for an episode of my Doctor Who fan series, in which the Doctor recalls a lullaby sung to him by his father.
I'm currently writing a symphony about Doctor who entitled 'Symphony For Time And Space' and the 1st Movement is based on the melody and eventually the lyrics to this little ditty.
In a way it was merely my attempt to add to the mythos of Doctor Who.
